a Review about France holiday

a Review about France holiday

Below the towering peak of Mont Blanc lies Chamonix, famous for skiing and mountaineering alike. Besides its quaint charm and interesting architecture, it has some of the best skiing in Europe, including the world-famous Vallée Blanche run.

Delightfully furnished in traditional French style with wood-panelled corridors this simple but clean hotel offers a friendly welcome and is conveniently located near Chamonix's apres-ski centre. This friendly hotel retains much of the typical French atmosphere found in this part of the Alps and its homely restaurant, decorated in natural wood, provides good, traditional meals.

Besides a comfotable lounge and dining room the hotel boasts one of the most popular apres-ski bars in the town. The bar noted for its exotic cocktails, is often the scene of lively and spontaneous entertainment around the big, open stone fireplace. In the plesant restaurant with its excellent views of the mountains and forests our guests can enjoy deelicious home cooking including two regional specialities such as the "braserade" table barbecue. Bright and airy with large French windows overlooking the slopes, studios are pleasantly decorated with fitted carpets, radio and telephone. All rooms have two twin beds and an additional single divan sofa which sleeps a third person comfortably.

Ritz Paris Club

Ritz Paris Club

Review
Michel Gaubert expertly lines up theme weeks which appeal to the middle-aged clients who like to explore distant gastronomic horizons. Outside of these special evenings, the Ritz Club will treat you like the king or queen you wish you were, all within a comfortable setting. The tables of the spacious room stand ready and waiting for a dinner feast direct from the Ritz kitchens, which goes to say that here, gastronomic culture goes hand-in-hand with music, runway shows, and tastings - for a long and beautiful evening. Like a tiny handful of private clubs, the Ritz Club opens its doors (with moderation) to the most elegant of the elegant few.

Moulin Rouge Club

Moulin Rouge Club

Review
All I can say is: WOW. The show of the Moulin Rouge was amazing! Colors, lights, music, entertainment! Everything was there. Though famous for the topless women, the show is much more than that. There are dancers, comedians, and gymnasts. One act that I thought was particularly amazing: a man and women doing amazing balancing acts of strength. They balanced each other with just a hand, and did tricks I didn't think were possible! A must see in Paris!
Despite the fact that the show is not entirely topless women, the Moulin Rouge is still not child-friendly. Leave the kids at home for this one. I had teenage boys in my tour group, and they giggled a bit...
As a warning, cameras are not allowed inside the Moulin Rouge. They collect them at the door, then give them back to you after your show.
As for the dress code, dress smartly. You don't need to go all out, but look presentable. Ladies could wear a nice dress or a skirt and top. Men could wear a dress shirt and pants.

Banana Café

Banana Café

Review
Taken over by the amiable Thierry Mallet, the Banana Café has dropped the "trendy/trash" style in favour of a formula embracing music genres spanning several decades. Hence there are an increasing number of "theme" evenings, like that of the Cotton Club who, back in the days of the Prohibition, took us right to the heart of the Harlem beat. It also held a great Oriental evening, a spicy party in every sense of the word. The Banana Café is not so much a discotheque as a lively bar with music (and good bar food if you feel the need to nibble), where something new is happening every evening. No wonder the place appeals to every age and every style.
